Who we serve
Shaping Our Appalachian Region and the U.S. Economic Development Association (EDA) have partnered to launch a long-term, boots-on-the-ground plan called the Eastern Kentucky Runway Program. Our goal is to connect Prime Age Employment Gap (PAEG) residents of our region with competitive-paying jobs.
Talking the talk and walking the walk
Our team will get to know you as a person to match you with a vocation and provide training, coaching, and work. Then we’ll connect you with an open position uniquely suited to your talents, skills, and passions. This is more than just job placement, though. This program will help you find and pursue your unique calling for the rest of your life.
For 10 years, Shaping Our Appalachian Region has worked to affect real changes for real people in Eastern Kentucky. We are a region of hard workers who believe in the inherent dignity that comes with providing for ourselves and our families. The Eastern Kentucky Runway Program will provide access to competitive-paying jobs and sustainable employment for individuals, families, and communities in our region.
